You’ve heard of artificial intelligence (AI), but did you know you can use it to help you create content for your holistic business? There are a number of free tools available, that will provide you with a content outline and ideas for you to personalise.

I’ve been playing with Chat-GPT, an AI-powered conversational bot, and Canva which has an AI copy generator and can also create different images – the feature image is a quick example. It’s great fun but be warned, it’s addictive! There are also AI assistants available in Google Docs, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint so you can start playing with software you’re already familiar with if it’s easier.

This blog is about using copy generators to help you create all sorts of content from blog posts to social media posts, scripts for videos, Facebook ads, presentations, answers to frequently asked questions, website pages, and more.

Benefits of AI

There are many reasons for using AI in your marketing, saving you time and money in the process:

  • It will produce copy in different formats fast for you to create your content simply by asking it a question.
  • If what you want to create is evergreen content (content that doesn’t date), it’s perfect to get you an organised framework of information.
  • If you are doing a series of content on one topic, you can ask it for different options on the responses e.g., a different angle, more information, the benefits, the limitations, to be more specific, give 5 tips, etc.
  • It can save you money on outsourcing content as you’ll be able to use it to give you a framework to work up yourself.

Limitations of AI

There are however limitations to using AI in your marketing:

  • The data used to create Chat-GPT3 was up to date in 2021 so it won’t be right for something you’re creating that’s current. For anything that you want up-to-date information on, you need to do your own research.
  • Despite you accessing the tool online, it doesn’t do live research, all its answers are based on the information it holds.
  • You will still need to edit any content to give it the human touch and make sure it reflects your brand voice.
  • Sometimes it takes some re-phrasing to get the information you want from it.
