8 Festive Ways to Boost Your Holistic Business This Christmas
Oct 30, 2025
It’s hard to believe how fast Christmas is creeping up on us again. Your clients are looking for meaningful, well-being-focused alternatives during this hectic time of year - are you ready to provide those options?
The last quarter is often the busiest and most profitable time for small businesses. Even if you don’t change your services for the festive season, there are still plenty of opportunities to market yourself and end the year on a high. Here are a few ideas to consider:
1. Christmas Party Alternatives
Not everyone enjoys the traditional boozy Christmas meal or forced festivities. But it is a time of year when family, friends, and colleagues gather, so how could you offer an alternative that aligns with your services?
- Offer experiences like yoga, meditation, aromatherapy, or herb walks for small groups to enjoy together.
- Collaborate with another practitioner to provide a retreat experience.
- Run a workshop, such as winter skincare using natural products that can be gifted, a seasonal cooking session, or a storytelling workshop.
Be creative based on your skills and resources; people are always looking for something different to do.
2. Create Christmas Gifts
Could you package your services or products into themed Christmas gifts? Could you bundle elements together or partner with another practitioner to enhance the value?
Any gifts you create can be marketed both in person and online to give your business a boost this festive season.
If your services are delivered online, think about how to make them more tangible. Having something to open on Christmas morning takes your gift to a new level. For example:
- If you offer online cooking classes, include a branded apron.
- For yoga classes, consider adding non-slip yoga socks.
People love to experience new things, and starter kits are a great way to do this. A couple of ideas include:
- Make-your-own hand cream
- A morning routine setup kit
What do you do that could be turned into a giftable kit?

3. Gift Vouchers
Experience gifts are a growing trend, and with wellness being a priority in your clients’ lives, this is a great opportunity for you.
Could you create a range of gift vouchers people can give to their loved ones? A friend of mine buys gift vouchers for her favourite local services and shops. Last year, I received one for my hairdresser, and my husband got some for the local farm shop. Is this something you could offer?
As with the online products above, how could you make a voucher feel more tangible? A printed version in a festive envelope instantly feels more special. Or, add a small, relevant product that the recipient can unwrap, such as a beautiful notebook, a Christmas decoration, a handmade hand cream, or a few luxury chocolates.
4. Create a Gift Guide
Creating a guide to buying gifts helps inspire buyers who are looking for meaningful presents. Letting them know who the gifts are suitable for will also make it easier to choose the right ones. Label them as for him, for her, for kids, for the family, under £15, and so on. Don’t forget to highlight any bonuses like free delivery or gift wrapping.
There are different ways to share your guide:
- A dedicated page on your website
- As a lead magnet (the freebie you give away in exchange for someone’s email address
- A digital leaflet to send to your email list
- A social media carousel or reel
- Printed leaflets for local events or stockists
5. Christmas Countdown
Create a campaign counting down to Christmas. It doesn’t have to be a full Advent calendar - you could use the ‘12 Days of Christmas’ or simply count down the weeks.
With your chosen theme, share a daily tip, quiz, or offer on social media or via your email list. You could even run a fun, festive challenge that fits your brand and audience.
To make it manageable, plan it out using a simple content calendar and schedule your posts or emails in advance. Just remember to check in and engage - it doesn’t have to be perfect, just consistent.
6. Create a Christmas Ad
Christmas ads are always a talking point; everyone loves to see what the big brands come up with. But don’t let their huge budgets put you off creating your own.
One of my favourite ads in recent years was by a small, family-run hardware store in Wales. Their creativity stood out, and their 2019 video went viral with 2.7 million views on YouTube - wow! Even the then-Prince Charles visited their shop in 2021 after hearing about them. What amazing PR with just a tiny budget and a lot of heart.
If you're comfortable on video and feeling creative, what ad could you create this year? How could you spread some festive joy to your audience?
7. Small Business Saturday
Get involved with Small Business Saturday, the annual event encouraging people to shop locally and support small businesses. In the UK, this year it falls on Saturday, 6th December 2025.
You can list your business, offers, and events on their ‘Small Business Finder’ and take part in their social media promotions. It’s a great opportunity to be seen.
Make a simple plan to promote your offers, and don’t forget to repurpose what you’ve already created for your gift guide or countdown campaign to maximise your efforts.
8. Local Christmas Events
Local Christmas events can be a fantastic way to get your holistic business in front of new people. Having a stand at a local market or fair helps build your profile and can be a cost-effective way to sell your services and products.
To find opportunities, check community noticeboards, local Facebook groups, and your council’s website. For more ideas, have a read of my blog on using stands to market yourself.
As a quick reminder - some professional bodies have rules around what their members can and can’t offer within these ideas, so double-check your professional code of conduct before launching anything new.
Conclusion
Let’s make this your most fulfilling festive season yet. Promoting your products and services at this time of year is a great way to boost your income. Whether it’s hosting a relaxing alternative event or offering beautifully curated gifts, there are so many ways to end the year on a high.
And with a little planning now, you’ll avoid the last-minute stress and show up in a way that feels calm, authentic, and aligned with your values.
