Pay-as-you-go Coaching & Mentoring
If you have a specific marketing problem with your therapy, health or wellness business that you need help with, you can book phone or Skype calls on a pay-as-you-go basis.
To start, you’ll complete a quick questionnaire that provides me with an overview of your business and the challenges you are facing. This will save us time on our call and help to focus you on what you want to achieve.
Each call is 60 minutes with a written summary by email of our discussion and links to any useful resources. These calls are designed to answer your questions, provide feedback to help you make decisions and focus your activities. You will need to put in additional effort to support the work done in these calls, to make the most of them.
The number of sessions required depends on what you want to achieve, and you can book as many as you like.
If you have done a lot of marketing and can’t understand why it hasn’t worked, this option is for you.
We’ll review your existing marketing efforts and your goals and identify what isn’t working. I will provide you with relevant feedback and make recommendations for your next steps.
Clarification of direction
If you feel stuck and are struggling in your business, I will help you to move forwards, make good decisions, and simplify what needs to be done. You will leave with a clear plan of action.
Identifying your niche or ideal clients
This is an area where many therapists and practitioners feel really stuck. You’ve often heard you ‘should’ pick a niche, but the fear of missing out on potential clients stops you from making a choice.
Niching doesn’t stop you from working with clients outside of your chosen area. It’s purely to focus your marketing so you to communicate directly to a select group, who both need and are willing to pay for your services.
Creating your personalised marketing plan
A simple plan is so often the missing piece of the puzzle when it comes to successful marketing. If you don’t know where you are going, how will you get there?
We will work to create the foundations for your simple marketing plan, that you can start putting into action straight away. We will work with the time and resources available to you, to create your plan.
Creating your core marketing message
Having a clear message is critical to the success of your business. You must be able to simply tell people what you do in a way they understand. How often have you ended up waffling around when you’re describing what you do? We will look closely at who you are, what you offer, what you stand for and who you help to craft a message that is clear and easy to explain.
Selecting the right marketing activities
There are so many options out there, from building a website, to social media, to networking, to advertising, it is often difficult to know where to start. Once you get going, it is easy to get side tracked by the next opportunity, and you end up flitting around, and not achieving much other than getting very frustrated.
I will work with you to discover the activities that are right for you, work to your strengths, and fit both within your time and budget constraints.
Briefing agencies or designers
Many practitioners and therapists don’t know where to start when it comes to briefing creatives on what they want. I have heard many a story where a designer has been employed to build their website but without any information or content other than ‘I want a website’. This is an expensive disaster waiting to happen.
By learning how to put a brief together, you will be able to communicate exactly what you want and save yourself from unnecessary time and expense.
